UPVC Flange Rubber Expansion Joint Equal Reducing Diameter DN50-DN400 For Irrigation Line

Plastic pipework needs a flexible link that does not crush the flange when the bolts are tightened. This joint uses UPVC flanges with a full faced sealing surface, so the load spreads across the plastic flange instead of concentrating around the bolt holes. The rubber body behind it takes the movement, letting the plastic line expand, settle and vibrate without cracking at the solvent weld joint.

Both equal and reducing configurations are available, which means a line can change diameter at the same point where flexibility is introduced. That saves a separate reducer and one pair of flanges. Fish farms, hatcheries, greenhouses and field irrigation blocks use the joint to stop pump vibration travelling into long runs of PVC and to allow sections to be lifted out for cleaning without disturbing the rest of the network.

Applications include aquaculture recirculation loops, hatchery headers, greenhouse fertigation manifolds, drip and sprinkler irrigation blocks, and swimming pool plant rooms. In fish farms the joint also isolates aerator and pump vibration from long PVC runs, while the reducing version is used where a main header steps down to lateral size. UPVC ends suit coastal sites where steel flanges would corrode quickly.

UPVC flanges are cushioned with foam before film wrapping so the plastic face is not chipped in transit. Units are cartoned and then crated in wooden cases for container shipment. Pressure test records are supplied, and for orders going to farm sites we can pack small sizes in labelled bundles by line number to simplify installation.
